Your parents have been living in France for at least 2 years

GRANTS AND ACCOMODATIONS :

>  you can ask for a grant and/or for a student accomodation : register a DSE

Accomodations :

If you have obtained a student accomodation you have to :

• provide a certificate established by a person who lives and works in the European Union. This person commits himself regulating the sums which you would not pay to the CROUS.
• provide a certificate of insurance for fire and water damages, civil liability

Without these documents you will not be allowed to get the accomodation which would have been allotted to you.

If you did not obtain a student accomodation :

You have a free access to studo flat offers in private residences. The flats are quite few and expensive (around 300 € per month). You may pay a deposit equivalent to two or three months of rent before reaching the flat and provide a certificate of insurance and guarantees .
